1St Shift Forklift Operator (8am -5pm)

ERB Industries, Inc., a Delta Plus Group Company, is a safety equipment sales and manufacturing company located in Woodstock, GA. We are currently hiring for the position of Forklift Operator. 1st Shift $16/HR M-F (7a-4p/8a-5p) 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Must be able to operate the Stand-Up, Order Picker/Cherry Picker, and Sit-Down lift trucks. Prior certification is preferred, but equivalent experience will be accepted. 
• Efficiently follows the orders of the supervising authority 
• Stocking of shelves for primary, secondary, and reserve locations in warehouse
• Reconciles discrepancies with appropriate company personnel

This job has no supervisory responsibilities

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations

Current or previous certifications are accepted. We will certify you once you have passed a skills test.  

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.   Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customer or employees

Mathematic Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.   Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
